BOU Soup Cups Offer Four Flavors

BOU, the better-for-you line of cooking ingredients, has announced a new range of instant soup cups in the U.S. market. BOU Soup Cups will shake up the $12 billion soup category with a healthier alternative that features non-GMO ingredients, no artificial flavors, and a new type of packaging that is recyclable and microwaveable with a transparent lid.
Made with lower sodium broth cubes, high-quality grains, and dehydrated vegetables, this hassle-free meal, which includes a custom spork, can be made in just five minutes with the addition of water. BOU Soup Cups will sell at a suggested retail price of $3.99 – $4.99, and will be available in four flavors: Classic Chicken and Noodle Soup, all-natural chicken flavored broth with tagliatelle pasta, carrots, corn, and green and white onions; Garden Tomato and Quinoa Soup, all-natural tomato flavored broth with red quinoa, kale and spinach; Harvest Vegetable and Grain Soup, all-natural vegetable flavored broth with brown rice, diced potatoes, and bell peppers; and Shiitake Mushroom and Beef Soup, all-natural beef flavored broth with red grain rice, diced mushrooms, and spinach.
With confirmed distribution through national and regional retailers including Whole Foods Market, Wegman’s, Albertson’s/Safeway, Jewel-Osco, Sprouts, and many other outlets, BOU Soup Cups will fill a large gap in the market for grab-and-go meals involving a broth base.
